ARTIST'S STATEMENT
"There is a quote that says 'photography does not create eternity- it embalms time, rescuing it simply from its proper corruption.' Photography serves the same purpose to me- it captures and preserves slipping memories within a picture. I take pictures of almost everything, even in its simplest form. Like a wall that holds centuries of history and unheard stories or the sky that is a canvas to God, who I consider as the most phenomenal Artist. I aim for simplicity and the discovery of beauty in everything I can see, touch, and feel. Often times, I like to add subtle meanings behind a picture that can be interpreted differently based on the unique experiences of individuals. Most importantly, photography is my form of self expression. I take pictures of what I deem important, sentimental, and or prominent in the progression of today's standards of beauty."
